Hello,
Thank you for your question.
our dear customer

Can you increase the dose of your medication?

Yes, you can but under strict medical supervision by your doctor to insure the effectiveness of these drugs as in some cases oral hypoglycemic drugs become no longer effective and patients need to shift to insulin therapy.

What are the causes of glucose fluctuation?

Improper diet
Improper drug administration
Mismatching between drug and diet
Over-eating of sugars
Infection
Failure of oral medication

What are the required investigation?

Clinical examination
HbA1c test
Fasting blood glucose

What is the treatment?

You will need to consult your endocrine doctor for increasing dose of medication to max limit to control glucose level or shift to other types of oral drugs.
Failure of this way will result in insulin therapy shift.
Feel free to message me anytime if you have any other questions.
Warm Regard
