Treatment of bloody cough

• The commonest cause of blood with cough is due to respiratory infection either upper respiratory or lower respiratory thus if you complain of common cold or influenza it will be the commonest cause at your case.
• Take course of antibiotic like azithromycin 500 mg once daily for five days.
• Take anti tussive syrup like chloramphenicol 5 cc daily to relieve symptoms
• Increase your intake of hot drinks and vitamin C juices like lemon
• If symptoms persist seek a medical help to be examined by your doctor
• Do chest x ray as the initial test.
