Good evening dr , I am professional swimmer . In a week 4 days I have to go for swimming for my fitness and that’s my hoppy from child hood . Last 2 week I have right ear problem some sluggish noise I am hearing on my right ear. Today I visited local clinic and had checked up that I have hole on my ear. Pls help me to get out from this problem. Swimming is my part of life. My phone numbe 056 1154440. I would like take app if possible. Thanks

the cause is usually due to ear infection. in order to diagnose the cause you need to consult an ENT specialist to examine you by otoscope and to determine the cause of your symptoms. Also you need to do CBC, and ESR.

How to treat ear infection?


you need to take clarithromysine 500 twice for 10 days

Today I visited ENT . They made xry and 1 more Test to be taken which is Called TC. Should I stop swimming or continue? I have no pain no headache only sluggish noise on my right ear.

Could you recommend me which swimming cap to be worn and what type of ear plug to be used.

I highly recommend avoiding swimming until you are completely healthy and cured.
Earplugs may aggravate the problem, so try to avoid using it.
