Treatment of fever:

It depends on the cause of fever as there are many different causes of fever, and till the right diagnosis you can use the following treatment:

• Paracetamol 500 mg three times daily, or ibuprofen 600 mg three times daily or tromanil  plus twice daily
• Augmentin 625 mg three times daily.

Causes of fever:

• Acute tonsillitis
• Respiratory tract infection
• Gastroeneteritis
• Cellulitis
• Otitis media
• Acute sinusitis...etc

Symptoms of fever:

You may complain from:

• Loss of appetitie
• General fatigue
• Cold extremeties
• Warm face
• Cough
• Diarrhea
• Abdominal pain

Diagnosis of the cause of fever:

For the right diagnosis, you should visit an internal medicine doctor for clinical examination and investigations as:

• CBC
• Stool analysis
• Urine analysis
• Chest x-ray
• Sinus x-ray
