i have a virus which began 24 hours ago. Symptoms...
i have a virus which began 24 hours ago. Symptoms are a lingering head ache and chills. Body feels very sore. Last night I came home from work at 2pm and stayed in bed until 5am today. I have no appetite, have been drinking lots of water and tea with ginger . Since this morning I have been experiencing burning when i urinate.
Other than rest, what should i do? I am in excellent health.

Fever , body ache , chills and exhaustion is vague signs of variety of disease but since there id painful urination it’s a hall mark for urinary tract infection UTI .
What is the management of UTI?
Use antibiotics such as ciprofloxacin
Use pain killer as ibuprofen
Drink water, fluids of any kind as possible as you can
Eat well balanced diet
Get some rest and sleep
Keep your hygiene at high level
What are the investigation required?
Urine analysis, expected high pus cells
Urine culture for sensitivity test
Blood count
Glucose level
What are the red flags?
Blood in urine
High grade fever
Tenderness in flanks
Change in color of urine
What is the differential diagnosis of your cases?
Common cold
Sinusitis
Headache due to stress and exhaustion
