Treatment of ectopic pregnancy

It is one of obstetric complications where pregnancy is implanted at abnormal site usually at ampulla of ovary where the normal implantation site is in the uterine cavity. The commonest risk factors of ectopic pregnancy is pelvic inflammatory diseases or due to history or surgeries in the uterus and ovaries. Treatment of like condition is by the following

• If the patient is hemodynamically stable what i mean ,there is no running vaginal bleeding and blood pressure is normal , the treatment will be either by methotraxate drug or laprotomy surgical method depend on parameters like size of sac and quantity of Beta hcg.
• If the patient is hemodynamically unstable , treatment will be by surgical exploration and removing ectopic sac.
• According to your question , it is not good choice to leave it till burst as it may cause bleeding and life threatening complications thus it is better to seek your doctor to take the proper treatment choice.
