how to treat genital herps?

There is no cure for genital herps as this is viral infection that will live with you and from time to time you will suffer from outbreak. If there is more than 6 outbreaks in a year then you need to take suppressive therapy which is taking antiviral therapy like (acyclovir, famicyclovir, vanacyclovir) on daily basis to prevent outbreaks. Most of people taking it won’t suffer from viral outbreaks and those are considered to be safe drugs with little side effects. I recommend to see a doctor and consider taking suppressive therapy
however if you didn't have this viral infection for long time then repeat the course of antiviral therapy again to manage symptoms
