what is menopause?

Menopause is defined as the absence of menstrual periods for 12 months, with associated elevation of FSH LH. Menopause means that your ovaries ceases to work and as a result you will stop being able to conceive or get pregnant. It is also associated with some symptoms like: headache, hot flushes, weakness of bones, and osteoporosis,  vaginal dryness, and emosional instability. This is a period as other periods of life. you should consider it as a new section of your life and you need to live it properly. I recommend to read about this part of your life and to consult a psychiatrist to help you.
