Gum infection can be due to bacteria cause or fungal cause .the differentiation between fungal and bacterial cause depends on the clinical evalaution.
if you treat bacterial cause by antifungal drugs ,this will exacerbate thesymptoms. the opposite is right also .
so you have to see your doctor to examine you and determine the cause well ,if the is bacterial you need antibiotic ,if it is fungal you need antifungal ,or you can use both groups .
