Hello, we did a blood test for my son a 6 year old...
Hello, we did a blood test for my son a 6 year old boy to check his hormon level and all was fine except the doctol told me there is a slight increase in adrinaline, taking in consideration that during taking his blood the boy was so angry and we had to take the blood by force and restrained by me and 2 nurses, i want to know the reasons of this slight increase and does the fact he was so angry during taking blood can play a part in this slight increase, thanks

High adrenaline level to a small amount is not specific for anything and could be lab error or due to the fact that child was angry during taking the test so you don’t need to be worried about your child’s test. Next time try to relax him before taking blood sample from him as this will boost the accuracy of the test. If your child still suffer from symptoms you can discuss them with us!

Thank you doctor but i forgot to mention that a bone age test was done to him and it was 18 months older than his age, but he is not showing any physical sign of early puberty, was wondering if that might be the cause
