I have a daughter(26 years old now) with Epelipcy...
I have a daughter(26 years old now) with Epelipcy since 8 years old she is om medicine from the age of 12. Till last month she was taking Keepra 500/1000 mg but now it is not available in the market instead the doctor told us to start EPITAM. since she has started that she complains of dizziness and sever pain inside head and some weakness. What is your advise?
should we stop the medicine and have another instead?

Regarding what you mentioned, the epilepsy is one of the common neurological disorder which usually appear during the childhood.
The treatment of this condition is by administration of the anti epileptic drugs in order to get rid and as prophylactic therapy which could be discontinued when the patient does not have seizure after 2 years of therapy.
The symptoms which appear in your situation could be due to the side effects of the recent medication that you are using , therefore, it is better in this situation to visit the neurologist doctor as soon as possible so that the doctor could do a full clinical evaluation of your case then he will manage it accordingly and he can stop the medication and replace it with another one when that is possible.
