symptoms of HIV
HIV is a virus which is transmitted mainly via sexual intercourse with infected partner or via blood transfusion of contaminated blood . there are many early symptoms of HIV infection but these symptoms are not specific which means that may occur at other diseases or infections .
- fever.
- muscles and joints pain
- sweating
- rash
- swollen lymph nodes
- mouth ulcers
HIV testing
- the commonest HIV tests available are to detect antibodies against the virus , you can do one of the following tests
- antibodies tests which can be done after 21 days after infection and have to be repeated at 45 days if infection.
- fourth generation coombs test can detect the antibodies within two weeks of infection.

Hiv can cause Anemia , decrease in WBCs count and decreased platlets .
Hiv can be detected after several weeks with blood testing , and within 10 days by PCR test .

For Hiv you can perform blood testing after 12 weeks of exposure
but CBC for other reasons can be performed at any time , as its easy simple procedure , whenever there is an indication for it or done routinely

those tests will help to diagnose the cause for your symptoms. For now I recommend to use ibuprofen 600 twice daily for 7 days

As your test is negative.. you need to repeat the test after 3 months
or Do PCR test
