there are many waay to lose weight and thereone life style simply it is helthy life style.
I will give you some advces that would help you lose your weight 
1- eat good breakfast, because it is the most important meal in the day
2- walk or exercise daily, you should do exercise for at least half an hour every day this would even improve your mood
3- avoid fat and carbohydrates
4- avoid soda and alcohol
5- get good night sleep
6- eat mostly unprocessed food
7- eat slowly
8- use smaller plates
9- avoid stress
10- drink water
11- eat fiber containing food and soluble food  
12- join support group
these are general advices you should go to nutritionist to help you make diet plan 
it is important to loose weight. having healthy weight protect you from hypertention and diabetes and if you have them it could help you in treatment.
