I am a well balanced man with diabetes 2. My diabetes is, as I mentioned, well-controlled by exercise, proper diet and a daily dose of Metromorfin 500 mg. I add chia seeds and ground flaxseeds to my food and normally my bowel movements are regular and uneventful. Last night I went out for a family dinner and ate foods which were both fatty and not my usuals. This morning I experienced a fairly serious episode of diarrhoea. My usual breakfast is a bowel of oatmeal cooked with a cup of 1% milk and two cups of water. I add cinnamon, a table spoon of chia seeds and another of crushed flaxseeds. Shall I continue that? I don’t have any anti-diarrheal medications available at home. Your thoughts? Thank you!
