I have a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee (WK2) with a 3.6L Pentastar V6 engine and I am experiencing two simultaneous issues that I suspect may be related: 1. Uconnect 8.4AN Infotainment System Issue: The screen displays the Jeep logo on startup but never progresses to load the main menu. The system is completely unresponsive and stays frozen at the logo screen. 2. Automatic Transmission Delayed Engagement: When shifting from Park to Drive, there is a noticeable 3-second lag before the transmission engages. This happens consistently every time I shift from P to D. My question is: Could these two symptoms (the frozen Uconnect 8.4AN infotainment screen and the 3-second transmission engagement delay) share a common root cause in the Body Control Module (BCM)?
