Treatment of pimples on vagina:
First of all, it's recommended to see you GP to evaluate your condition, detect the cause and then treat you accordingly because the treatment depends on the cause. If you're suffering from genital warts, then there are different ways of treatment including oral medication (Imiquimod), cryotherapy, Laser tharapy and surgical excision. It there is a genital herps simplex infection, antiviral medication such as Acyclovir along with pain killer such as Paracetamol can be prescribed. If there is any infection, then antibiotic such as Cefuroxime 500 mg (for bacterial infection) and Miconazole cream (for fungal infection). Furthermore, it's advisable to keep your private area clean and dry, avoid scratching by hands and wear cotton underwear.
Diagnosis:
Diagnosis can be made visiting your GP for assessment of your condtion including a Pap test as part of a pelvic exam to check for cervical changes caused by genital warts. Your GP may consider running some tests such as complete blood test (CBC) to detect infection represented by high white blood cells, a blood test may be used to look for HSV antibodies with the possibility of taking a biopsy from the area if needed.
