Hello doctor I had my periods it was normal for 7...
Hello doctor I had my periods it was normal for 7 days . Before that I think o may have missed a day in taking my contraceptive. Anyway the periods continued with heavy bleeding with clots I went to a general practitioner sje gave me an injection to stop the blood and I am taking tafixyl last night was the 3rd day . This morning I got blood again with a little clot so I took tafixyl 2 tablets . Please advice the next step I should take. I was not pregnant for sure it's the contraceptive I feel that my hormones a playing up . Please advise. Thanks would be very grateful

What is Tafixyl used for?
Tafixyl contains tranexamic acid which belongs to a group of medicines called antihaemorragics; antifibrinolitics, aminoacids. Tafixyl is used for the prevention and treatment of bleeding.
Treatment of heavy menstruation:
First of all, it's highly recommended to visit a specialist doctor to assess your condition precisely to determine the cause of your problem and treat you accordingly.
