We would like you to know that if your inquiry relates to obtaining a work permit in Portugal, here are the following information:

 - You cannot obtain a work permit individually in Portugal.

 - There must be a local sponsor (employer) who has a company operating inside the Portuguese territory, who will bear the costs of work permits and work visas

 - passport .

 - Personal Photos .

lease be informed that your sponsor is not entitled to obtain all the documents that you have that do not relate to the work contract like the passport, as it is not allowed for him and if your sponsor insisted on obtaining documents related to you and not related to work purposes, you can file a complaint against him to the police and the labor office and accuse him of seizing your documents.
Also, remember that you can make a report against him at the police station and accuse him of seizing documents from you and refusing to give them back
