A- Its term expires, unless it is renewed in accordance with the provisions of this law, its executive regulations, and ministerial decisions issued in this regard.
b- The worker’s death, or his disability during and because of work. The disability is proven and its percentage is determined by a report from a specialized medical committee. The employer bears the costs of returning the body of the deceased or disabled worker to his country.
c- The death of the employer, and the contract may continue until the end of its term with the approval of the Ministry.
d- Convicting the worker of a felony or sentencing him to a penalty restricting his freedom in a felony or misdemeanour.
E- The agreement of the two parties to terminate the contract.
F- The worker reaches the age of sixty, and the Minister determines the cases in which it is permissible to extend the service beyond this age.
g- Exhaustion of sick leave, or unfitness for work.
h- The worker's absence from work without an acceptable excuse during the contractual year for a period of ten consecutive days or fifteen intermittent days.
i- It is proved that one of the parties to the contract has breached the obligations prescribed for him by law or agreement, and in this case the provisions of Article (23) of this law shall apply.
2- The employer must pay all the worker's financial dues within ten days from the date of the contract termination.
Either party to the employment contract may terminate it unilaterally if the other party breaches its obligations stipulated in Articles (15) and (16) of this law.
- The employer and the worker may terminate the contract. If the termination of the contract was by the employer and for a reason not related to the worker, then the employer is obligated to provide a travel ticket for the worker to return to his country, in addition to paying compensation equivalent to the comprehensive wage for a period of one month, and any other dues for the worker owed by the employer and any other compensation he may have. ruled by the court.
- If the contract was terminated by the worker and due to a reason attributable to him after the probationary period, the worker shall bear the expenses of his return to his country in addition to paying compensation to the employer equivalent to the comprehensive wage for a month and any other dues to the employer owed by the worker and any other compensation that the court may rule.
In all cases of termination of the work relationship, the Ministry shall have the authority to grant the worker a new work permit or not to grant him in accordance with the rules it decides in this regard, and taking into account the provisions in force in the country.
