Croatia work visa

Please note that you must first obtain an employment contract in order to be able to obtain a work visa in Croatia, as a foreigner cannot work in Croatia on the basis of a short-term visa.
Please note that you may be asked to come for a personal interview with the visa officer at the Embassy of the Republic of Croatia to complete the application process.
Submission of a visa application, with all required documents, does not automatically mean the issuance of a visa.
The issued visa is not a guarantee that a foreign citizen will be allowed to enter the Republic of Croatia. On each border crossing, the police may require the foreign national to provide all relevant documents, including copies of letters of guarantee for both private and business visits.
The visa refusal decision, together with the reasons for this decision, shall be delivered to the applicant in the visa refusal/cancellation form.
A foreign national may file a complaint against the visa refusal decision via the competent Embassy/Consulate of the Republic of Croatia, within 15 days from the date of receipt of the decision regarding visa refusal/revocation/cancellation. The complaint is submitted in the Croatian language. The fee for non-European countries is 26 euros or 35 dollars, according to Section 78b of the Administrative Fees Act.
The visa application fee is non-refundable once the application has been accepted at the Embassy.
Any forgery of documents and the use of such documents may be subject to criminal prosecution
