Assalamu Walaikum, I wanted to know one thing, I am coming to Dubai in September 2018, there was no visa except partner visa, so I was forced to apply for partner visa, but the license was not renewed. Now how can I apply visa and my visa cessIt happened a long time ago, I can't cancel the visa.

We would like to inform you that fees of renewing residence varies from time to time.

Note that once your residence visa expires in the UAE, the sponsor has to expedite in renewing his / her sponsored visas within the specified time of visas' renewal. So that to avoid imposing any fines or legal consequences on you. According to the law, the general directorate of residency and foreigners affairs (GDRFA) grants a 30-day grace period to reside legally in UAE after the expiry of the residence visa.
And according to the fines system in the ministry of the interior in the UAE, the fine for overstaying in the country after the expiry of the grace period:
·        25 AED per day during the first six months (180 days)
·        50 AED per day during the next six months
·        100 AED per day after more than a year.
It should also be noted that when the visa expires, the validity of the identity card issued by the Federal Identity and Citizenship Authority (ICA) is also terminated and must be renewed by the Authority before applying for renewal of residency to the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs.
Can I renew my residence visa before it expires?
 
residence visa issued by the UAE must be renewed within thirty days of its expiry.  However, if the client has reasons to renew before the end of one to six months (for reasons of travel, health conditions or otherwise), he must obtain the prior approval from the Directorate General for Residency and Foreigners Affairs in the Emirate that issued the visa.

Renewal of the Residence Visa The same conditions for the issuance of the visa must be met for the first time both for the security of the residents of their families and for the visa.
Requirements for renewal of residence visa
A sponsor who has a valid residence
Passing the compulsory health check for those over the age of 18
Health insurance card (currently mandatory in Dubai and Abu Dhabi only)
An application for renewal of the ID card from the Federal Authority for Identities and Citizenships (ICA), or submitting an original receipt proving that the sponsor has applied for renewing the card.
In addition, the following documents must be attached upon submission of the application:
The application form submitted online or through the printing offices licensed to the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in the Emirate concerned. The application must be signed by the competent person, whether public sector, private sector or personal sponsor.
Original passport of the sponsored person
Personal photo of the sponsored person
For the private sector employees, the company must provide the following additional documents for the renewal of the employee's residence visa:
·        A copy of the valid company card
·        A copy of the business license of the valid company
·        A copy of the sponsored business card, renewed as original
·        A copy of the receipt of renewing the business card for those aged 60+.
For those who sponsored their families: such as husband, wife, children, guardians or relatives from the first class, the below documents shall be added during renew:
*a copy of the husband's/wife’s employment contract or company contract for investors.
*a salary certificate from the employer stating the employee's monthly salary.
*a legalised marriage certificate.
*a registered tenancy contract.
*latest utility bill.
