What causes heart burn

What is the causes of heart burn ? 

• Gastritis
• Gastroesophgeal reflux diseas (GERD) 
• Peptic ulcer disease 
• Myocardial infarction
• Bad life style
• H pylori infection

What is the treatment of Heart  burn ?

Acoording the cause , in cases of gastritis you must take Omeprazol 20mg twice daily befor 30 minut of eating , in cases of GERD you can take famotidin 40mg once daily on bed time , but in cases of H pylori disease you must take trippel therapy included Omeprazol 40mg twice daily for 14 days and  Metronidazole 500mg three times daily 14 days and  Clarithromycin 500mg three times daily , in cases of peptic ulcer may need omeprazol 40mg for long time and in advanced case may need to surgery
In cases of myocardial infarction may need anti thrompotic as asprin 100mg or vasdilator as nitroglycerin or lipd loweing agent as Simvstatin or angotensin receptor blcker or by caciun channel blocker and may nee cardiac catheterization and ballon dilataion

What is the investigation for diagnosis ?

History and physical examination , Cbc , Breath test for H pylori infection and stool analysis for h pylori antigen in the stool and you must do ECG and echo for cardiac problem and may need to gastroscope 

What is associated symptoms of Heat burn ?

• burning sensation of the chest
• chest pain
• difficlty swallowing dysphagia
• sensation of a lump in your throat
• dry cough
• regurgitation of the contnet acid reflux
• vomiting
• melena
