How to treat increase menstruation duration

it may be caused by  polycystic ovary syndrome which can be treated by metformin and clomiphene citrate and this problem may be caused by uterine fibroids which can be treated using leuprolide  and in severe cases it can be treated by surgery and other possible cause of   increase menstruation duration is low platelets un the blood which can be treaed by platelets transfusion

How to diagnose  increase menstruation duration

you should be assessed by the gynecologist and abdominal ultrasound should be done to exclude the presence of polycystic ovary syndrome or  uterine fibroids and CBC should be done to exclude presence of anemia    whaich may occurs because of the bleeding and to exclude the presence of low platelets
