Treatment of corona virus:
Till now, there is no approved medication or vaccine to treat covid-19 infection, and medication is just suppotive according to symptoms as taking paracetamol to treat fever and headache when needed, and oxygen supplementation if needed, and in severe cases intensive care management may be needed.
Diagnosis of corona virus:
It depends on the clinical examination by a medical doctor and investigations as PCR to detect covid-19 virus infection, CBC to rule out bacterial infection, chest x-ray to detect lung problems...etc
Symptoms of corona:
In 85 % of patients there is no appearant symptoms, in the rest patinet may complain from:
- Fever
- Headache
- Arthralgia
- Dry cough
- Dyspnea
- Diarrhea
- General fatigue
- Smell and taste loss...etc
What i advise you?
Sore throat may be due to covid-19 infection, so you have to call 103 and avoid contact with others till doing PCR test.
