Treatment of vaginal infection


Your symptoms are related to vaginal inflammation. Firstly, increase your daily intake of water for at least 3 liters per day. Use gynedektazole supp. once daily for seven days to treat vaginal inflammation and discharges. Take metronidazole 500 mg twice daily for one week also. Apply mikonazole cream twice daily if there is vaginal itching.

Investigations to do


It is clinical diagnosis. You can use urine analysis to diagnose if there is urine salts and urinary tract infections.

Symptoms of vaginal inflammation


There are many symptoms like
  • Lower abdominal pain
  • Lower back pain
  • Vaginal itching
  • Discharges
  • Bad odor
  • Dysurea

only have lower abdominal and lower back pain plus discharges.no itching or dysurea (no pain while urinating)dose this change the diagnosis?

Treatment of flank pain:

Treatment depends on the cause and may include conservative management by drinking good amount of water daily, and avoiding salts to treat infections and salts, and you may need good antibiotic as levofloxacin 750 mg once daily to treat urine  infection for 5-10 days, or for 4 weeks to treat prostatitis, and you may need surgical intervention as removal of renal stones

 

 

Dignosis of the cause of flank pain:


It depends on the clinical examination of an urologist and investigations as urine analysis and culture to detect infection and its type, and renal function tests ( urea, creatinine ), and PSA for prostate problems, and radiological studies for genitourinary system

Causes of flank pain:


It may be due to:

 

  • Urinary tract infection
  • Renal stones
  • Prostate enalrgment
  • Prostatitis

In addition to taking medications, you have to drink good amount of water daily and avoid salts
