How to treat erythema nodosum?
There are different treatments for erythema nodosum which include NSAID such as Ibuprofen 600mg twice daily, corticosteroid and sometimes colchicine might be used to reduce inflammation. Treatment must include the existence of any associated diseases
How to diagnoses erythema nodosum ?
By history and physical examination which is usually enough for diagnosis. Someteime, a skin biopsy is taken for confirmation

It is usually presented by slightly raised, tender, reddish nodules, most commonly below the knees in the front of the legs. They are painful and can slowly come and go

Inflammatory bowel disease
