Hi doctor. My mom is suffering from severe throat pain since 7 to 10 days. She ahs tried all the home remedies, but all of no use. Plz can you suggest anything medicine for her. She is diabetic . Would appreciate your reply. Thank you. Stella.

She didn't visit the doctor yet, because she is in India and bcz of the lockdown, no transportation is available to go to the hospital

Treatment for sore thraot
the treatment was according to the cause but the most common cause is acut respiratory infection
so the pateint must getting enough sleep and regular exercise and stretching and eat fruit and vegetbels and the pationt mu take medication like ogmin500mg 3times in day for 7 days and must take pain killer lihe paracetamol 500mg 3times in day and respiratory ventilation if need
Inevestigation for throat congestion
first the internal doctor mus do medical examination to prove sore throat and and must doctor listen chest sound to except lower respiratory infection and must do some laboratory investigation loke CBC to except of increase wbv more than 12000 and do rt-pcr fpr cprpna investigation
there is several causes for breathing problem
acut respiratory infection
chronic respiratory infection
asthma

I recmmend that you go to the internal doctor if symptoms increase to keep you safe
