Good morning,
I have a lump on my vaginal lip, when i hold it i can feel it. If i squeeze it hurts a bit but it is not painful all the time. I get alot of these but this one is taking longer to go away. What could it be? Ingrown hair or something more? I do not want to go to a hospital with what is going on so i want to know what it is and what i could use to get rid of it.

Treatment of vaginal lump
the treatment depend on the cause of the lump which is in most cases due to bacterial infection , so the using of antibiotics such as Cefroxime 500 mg twice daily for one week on acompination with Metronidazol 500 mg 3 times daily for aweek , with drinking alot of water , and avoid wearing clothing that rubs & chafes your vulva , avoiding sex with your husband , for fungal infection use flucan 150mg once and then repeat the dose within 5 day & miconazole cream three times dialy , finally the lump must be examined by the doctor and squeesing
Diagnosis
we can diagnose vaginits by taking a full medical history , and make CBC ,with PCR to detect the infection , as well as urine analysis shuld be done , and aswap of vaginal dicharge to be cultured , and ultrasound on vagina
Causes of vaginal lump
- injury to the vaginal wall
- bacterial infection
- bartholine cyst
- sexual transmeted infection

- vaginal discharge
- vaginal itching
- burning sensation
- painful sex :dysparunia
