Hi, I have been working abudhabi in an company...
Hi,
I have been working abudhabi in an company called securetech LLC.My current visa is limited one and have a clause "second party may not work with a competitor or divulge the company secrets for two years after the end of the contract with the fisrt party under the uae labour rule".My visa will expiry on july 30th 2015 and labour contract expire on aug 18 th 2015.Now i have got offer from my competitor Atlas Telecom.So is there ay problem for me to issue visa in atlas telecom.Waiting for reply.

Dear Sir . first of all thanks for your trust
About your inquiry first of all i would like to mention the article (127) of the Labour Law states that:
( Where the work assigned to a worker allows him to become acquainted with the employer's clients or to have access to his business secrets, the employer may require him to undertake not to compete with him or participate in any enterprise competing with his own, after the termination of his contract. For such an undertaking to be valid, the worker must be at least 21 Gregorian years of age at the time the agreement is concluded, and the agreement must be confined, in terms of time, place and the nature of the business, to the extent necessary to safeguard the employer's legitimate interest.)
So according to the article 9 of your contract and according to article 127 from the labour law you
cannot :
1: sign a contract with a company working in the same filed
cannot :
1: sign a contract with a company working in the same filed
2: sign a contract before your contract finish ( you can sign contract with adding to future if the new company is not Competitive company )

The only solution in your case is to get the consent of your employer , and that he agree to cancel this condition ( article 9 from your contract ) , this approval should be written in papers and not only vocal . you should have evidence that he accept that you work to Atlas
