1- From the PS3 home screen, go to [Settings] > [Account Management] > [Sign In].

2-  If you are automatically signed in to PSN when you select your local user, select [Sign Out] to see the [Sign In] option.

9-  Create a new password. Don't forget to use a mixture of upper and lower-case letters, numbers and special characters.
You can now sign in with your new password. You will see an onscreen message and receive an email to confirm the password change.
