Actually in this case , you should give the guinea pig which is 6 months of age Amoxicillin 100ml-norbrook company
or bayer company give it half ml IM/SC ingection daily for five days. also flagyl-metronidazole syrap half ml -orally one time every day for five days, these drugs  avilable in vetrenary clinics
