I have diabetes, uric acid and protine can be detected in urine and in urine test report it was found there was some blood as well, this was like a month ago. So today while peeing i noticed there was black or white lump in my penis head. Is it because of my diabetes, uric acid and protine can be detected in urine. Now I m tensed. Can you please help me

Treatment of blood in urine:
First of all, it's recommended to visit a urologist for full assessment of your condition since the the treatment depends on the cause. If there is prostatitis or UTI, antibiotic such as Levofloxacin can be prescribed along with drinking large quantities of water ( 3 liters per day). If there is a stone in the urinary system, then the treatment will be according to it's size either by laser or surgically. Furthermore, it's imprtant to stop the masterbation.

Diagnosis:

Taking your medical history and physical examination by the urologist. Urine analysis to detect the presence of any blood or red blood cells in the urine, the presence of infection or protein in the urine, and see the sample under a microscope to exclude the presence of irregularly shaped red blood cells, which indicate the presence of inflammatory kidney disease. Renal for the kidneys and ureters, to exclude the presence of kidney stones, tumors.

Causes of blood in urine:

  • UTI
  • Stones in the urinary system
  • Prostatitis
  • Tumors of the bladder and ureter
  • Nephritic syndrome
  • Some medications such as warfarrin
  • Vigorous exercise
  • Others
