Hello, I have a 10 year old boy who has been suffering from acute diarrhea for almost 40 days now, all the analyzes have not pointed out any abnormalities, the weird thing is that his diarrhea starts with mixed colored stools. yellow followed by pure water without color, even if the stools are normal sometimes, they are followed by pure water, 1 month under antibiotic treatment gave no results, test for allergy to milk or wheat n 'nothing given, am I really lost?

: Treatment
This condition as you mentioned 40 days considering as chronic diarrhea . Which appear to us that not causing for him a dehydration but make you worried about it and this vaild reason . First to called its diarrhea must be more than 3 times daily he went to toilet and his stool not bulky like water
Then one of the possibilities if he has an allergy from milk can cause this symptoms and must found another alternative for dairy products also we need to rule out celiac disease
. Meanwhile you must to keep him hydrated and seek advice

Examination doctor he will order for him complete hemoglobin level and TtG to rule out celiac and if possitive need a camera test from his mouth to take biopsy also we need thyroid level and stool analysis to rule out any microbe
